Mobile-app privacy

Care Ready is local-first and account-free. No Synodos account or subscription is required. Care Ready Profile information is encrypted locally on the caregiver's device, and Synodos does not operate a cloud database containing those profiles.

Profile information remains on the device unless the caregiver chooses to share a brief or export a backup. The iPhone working database is excluded from ordinary device and iCloud backup. Backup & Recovery creates an encrypted backup file and a separate recovery code; both are required. You choose the file destination, which may be a cloud-backed Files provider. Synodos holds no recovery code copy. Without a usable backup and code, lost records may be unrecoverable.

Photos. Camera and photo-library access happen only after you tap. Care Ready resizes each photo you add and removes hidden photo data, such as location, before storing it encrypted.

Sharing and information outside the app

The caregiver controls when a brief is shared and should review it before sharing. Once information is shared outside Care Ready, it may be processed, copied, retained, or forwarded by the recipient, device, operating system, or service used to share it. Their privacy and retention practices apply after that point.

New iPhone briefs are self-contained HTML files that can be previewed, printed, or shared. They are readable copies, not encrypted backups. Existing PDF history remains supported. Shared copies cannot be recalled or remotely erased by Care Ready.

Sharing a profile with another caregiver. On iPhone, you can send one person’s profile, including the photo, as an encrypted file through the iPhone share sheet, for example AirDrop, Messages or Mail. The file opens only with a separate sharing code shown once on your screen; give that code another way, such as by phone. The file passes directly between devices and the services you choose; Synodos never receives it. The other caregiver’s copy is independent: it cannot be recalled, updated or erased from your device. Care Ready does not synchronize records between caregivers, and version 1.0 does not include a responder QR code.

Private beta testing

TestFlight distribution is being prepared. Once available, Apple TestFlight may provide the developer with testing, crash, usage, and submitted feedback information under Apple’s TestFlight terms. This is separate from local care-record storage. Use fictional records and exclude private information from feedback and screenshots.

External websites

Care Ready may link to government and third-party websites. Opening a link connects your device to that website; Care Ready does not attach or transmit Profile information to it. The website may receive ordinary connection information and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy.

Website privacy

This website has no account registration, profile entry, contact form, payment function, or upload feature. Synodos Path does not use visitor analytics, advertising trackers, tracking cookies, session recording, fingerprinting, or behavioral profiling on this site.

Hosting and network providers may process limited technical request data—such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page, request time, and security or error logs—to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the website. Synodos Path does not use that operational data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Email and sensitive information

If you email us, your message and address are used to respond to you. Support email is handled through Google Workspace and is separate from the App's local records. You may request deletion of a support communication; the Provider will explain if information must be kept to meet an applicable legal obligation. Do not email medical, identifying, emergency, or Care Ready Profile information. Privacy questions may be sent to careready-support@synodospath.com.

Retention, security, and children's privacy

Care Ready does not hold a server-side Profile copy to return, correct, or erase. Records remain under your control on the device until you manage or delete them there. Copies outside the App—such as a backup, brief, printout, or shared file—must be managed through the applicable device, service, recipient, or destination. Local encryption and encrypted backups reduce risk, but no storage method eliminates risk; protect your device, backup file, and recovery code separately.

The App is intended for caregivers and other authorized adults. It is not directed to children. The Provider does not receive personal information about children through the App; caregivers control what they enter and the copies they choose to export, print, share, or back up.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy before materially changing the practices described here, including adding an account, Provider-operated cloud synchronization, or a third-party service. The effective date will be updated, and a material change will be presented through an App update or another reasonable notice before the changed practice is introduced.
