Apple terms

If you obtain the app through Apple's App Store, your license to use it is subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”). These terms supplement the Standard EULA. If they conflict on a matter governed by that license, the Standard EULA controls. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Purpose and permitted use

Care Ready helps caregivers maintain information and create a focused Incident Brief for an Emergency or Information Brief for Everyday Care. Use the website and app only for lawful caregiving, informational, and preparation purposes. Do not interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, seek unauthorized access, or misrepresent a relationship with Synodos Path.

Not an emergency or professional service

Care Ready does not contact 911, dispatch responders, track or locate a person, investigate an incident, diagnose or treat a condition, determine alert eligibility, issue or request a public alert, or replace first responders. It does not provide medical, legal, public-safety, or other professional advice. Contact the appropriate emergency service directly when someone is missing, injured, or in immediate danger.

Caregiver responsibility

Care Ready organizes information entered or selected by a caregiver. That information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. The caregiver is responsible for keeping the Care Ready Profile current, reviewing each brief before sharing, choosing an intended recipient, and following instructions from responders or care professionals.

Public alerts and independent authority

The app may identify facts that could support responder consideration of an AMBER Alert or an Endangered Missing Person Advisory. This is not an eligibility determination. Alert names and requirements vary by jurisdiction. Only authorized law-enforcement or public-safety personnel determine eligibility and activate an alert.

No official affiliation or endorsement

References to government agencies, public-alert systems, research sources, first responders, schools, or medical providers are descriptive or informational. They do not imply endorsement, certification, integration, or partnership unless Synodos Path expressly states that a formal relationship exists.

Availability, planned features, and warranty

Features may change before release. Version 1.0 does not include a responder QR code or live synchronization between caregivers, and Android follows the iPhone release; no release date is promised for these. The website and test build are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, Synodos Path does not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, the accuracy of caregiver-entered information, or any particular safety, care, search, alert, or recovery outcome.

Records, backups, and sharing

Care Ready Profile information is encrypted locally on your device. The app does not send it to the Provider, which cannot access it through the app. The iPhone working database is excluded from ordinary device and iCloud backup. Backup & Recovery creates an encrypted backup file and separate recovery code; you are responsible for maintaining both, and the Provider cannot recover a lost code.

When you share a profile copy with another caregiver, they receive an independent copy that you cannot recall, update or erase. Share only with a caregiver you trust, and give the sharing code separately from the file.

When you print, save, export, or share a brief or backup, the selected destination may process or retain it under its own terms and privacy practices. Review the selected document and destination before sharing. An unsupported app may eventually become inaccessible because of device or operating-system changes, so keep backups or other copies of records you need to preserve.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use the app. This includes consequences associated with incomplete or outdated information, caregiver-entered information, device loss or failure, app deletion, a lost backup or recovery code, or user-directed sharing. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Content, changes, and contact

Unless otherwise identified, the Synodos Care Ready name, design, written content, and original materials belong to the Provider or its licensors. The Provider claims no ownership of information or documents you enter or store. We may update these terms as the product develops; the effective date will be updated when they do. You may stop using the app at any time and manage or delete records on your device and copies outside the app through their applicable service or destination.
